MOORESVILLE, N.C., June 7, 2019 (Newswire.com) - 2019 JR Motorsports late model stock car driver Adam Lemke is excited to have Off Axis Paint back on board as he heads to Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway to chase his first CARS Tour victory. Lemke and Off Axis Paint have worked together in the past, and there was enthusiasm on both sides to get back together as the summer racing season heats up for Lemke.
“I am really excited to be reunited with Off Axis Paint,” the Hollister, California racer said. “Everyone at Off Axis does amazing work, and they all produce great looking helmets. Greg has done a great job to make Off Axis successful, and he understands and knows how to make drivers look good.”
Greg Stumpff, owner of Off Axis Paints, also spoke of the reunion. “We are excited to be partnered with Adam Lemke again this season,” he stated. “It’s been a ton of fun watching this young talent early in his career. He has a lot of potential, and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Lemke, a member of the Team Chevy Driver’s Edge development program, in conjunction with JR Motorsports and GMS Racing, is also a part of the CARS Tour’s “Touring 12” commitment program this season. He has a best finish of third and has been getting faster and more comfortable each week with his JRM Chevy. “I feel like we’ve improved a lot on the track since the beginning of the season, and it has been a lot of fun working with everyone at Team Chevy, learning how to improve off the track. We won at Hickory against some of the best drivers in the area, and I know that a win on the CARS Tour is possible. I need to keep learning and improving, and that win will come. The competition on the tour is amazing. There are probably 15 cars, at least, that can win at any given race. I’m ready to get to Langley and see what we can do this weekend.”
The Who’s Your Driver 125 for the CARS Tour late model stock division takes place this Saturday, June 8, at Larry King Law’s Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia. The main event is scheduled for a 7 p.m. Eastern time start. Those who cannot make it to the track can watch the event via pay-per-view on www.carstour.TV.
